The exhibition space with the theme: “Dong Nai – Taking off into a new era”, part of the National Achievements Exhibition “80 years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness” currently taking place at the National Exposition Center (Dong Anh commune, capital city of Hanoi), has attracted significant attention from visitors. This is the largest-ever exhibition showcasing achievements in economy, culture, society, national defense, and security, in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

On the first opening day of the exhibition, August 28, Dong Nai’s exhibition space at the national exhibition “80 years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness” welcomed around 5,000 visitors. On the second day, the number of visitors increased many times. Various information, documents, and artifacts displayed and introduced by Dong Nai have drawn huge interest from visitors, such as: the scale model of Long Thanh International Airport, and the new Dong Nai Provincial Administrative Center expected to be built at Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Zone…
Visitors have also shown great interest in Dong Nai’s unique heritage, such as the Loc Hoa Lithophone and the Long Giao Bronze Pangolin Statue - recognized national treasures currently being preserved and promoted by the province. In addition, visitors are also fascinated by Dong Nai’s One Commune – One Product (OCOP) agricultural products, including Tran Trieu pomelos, red-flesh dragon fruits, cashew nuts, coffee…among others.

Dang Minh Duc, a resident from Phu Tho Province, shared: “I really like Bien Hoa ceramics. I’ve heard about them for a long time, but this is my first time seeing and touching them in person. Bien Hoa ceramics have their own distinctive style, the glaze is not shiny, but the patterns are very detailed and beautiful”.

Loc Hoa lithophone artisan Nguyen Duy Thao said: “During the first two days of the exhibition, I kept playing continuously for the audience without feeling tired. Every time the sound of the lithophone resonates throughout the spacious hall of the National Exposition Center, I felt extremely proud”.

Meanwhile, Pham Thi Huynh Mai, a resident of Hanoi Capital, said she was very impressed with the scale model of Long Thanh International Airport displayed at Dong Nai’s exhibition space. This is truly going to be a world-class international airport in the near future, not just for Vietnam, but for the entire region. It makes people very proud of our country in this new era.
One of the highlights of Dong Nai’s exhibition space at the national achievements exhibition “80 years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness”, which has become a popular photo spot for many visitors, is the model of the Tran Bien Literature Temple Gate. Built at the center of the booth, the model features a classic and traditional architectural beauty.

Le Quoc Phong, a visitor from Hai Phong City, shared: “Twenty years ago, I worked at an artillery unit in Trang Dai Ward, Dong Nai Province and later retired, moving back to Hai Phong to live with my children and grandchildren. Seeing Dong Nai’s achievements during its journey of renewal, I feel very proud and hope the province continues to prosper”.

Le Thi Ngoc Loan, Provincial Party Committee Member and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai Province, stated: “The number of visitors to Dong Nai’s exhibition space has exceeded our initial expectations. On the opening day, in addition to the high-ranking leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, and Government visiting Dong Nai’s exhibition space from their vehicles, leaders of many ministries, central agencies, and other provinces also took time to visit, learn, and exchange with Dong Nai”.
Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism also shared that, besides providing information about Dong Nai, the province prepared a small 3D painting of the Tran Bien Literature Temple as a souvenir gift, along with informative materials about the province.
