Ho Nai Ward was established through the administrative merger of Tan Hoa Ward (formerly part of Bien Hoa City) and Ho Nai 3 Commune (formerly part of Trang Bom District).
During the 2020–2025 term, both former localities, Tan Hoa Ward and Ho Nai 3 Commune (now merged into Ho Nai Ward), successfully achieved 100% of the targets outlined in their respective Party Congress resolutions. The local economy maintained stable growth, with annual social production values consistently meeting or surpassing planned goals. Socio-economic infrastructure saw significant investment from various funding sources. Yearly state budget revenue exceeded provincial estimates; from 2020 to date, the combined budget revenue of the former Tan Hoa and Ho Nai 3 localities reached nearly 275 billion VND, surpassing the planned target by 104%.
The cultural and social sectors witnessed notable progress, and social welfare was well ensured. The work related to ethnic and religious affairs also achieved significant outcomes.
After the merger, Ho Nai Ward is home to a religious population accounting for 85% of its residents, with 25 religious establishments, 23 dignitaries, 259 monks/nuns, and 540 lay religious officers. The religious community in the ward has expressed strong confidence in the Party’s renewal policies, remained closely connected with local authorities, and actively participated in patriotic emulation movements, exemplifying a life of good citizenship and strong faith.

Currently, Ho Nai Ward possesses a relatively well-developed socio-economic infrastructure, with National Highway 1A and the North-South railway running through the area. The transportation system offers favorable conditions for socio-economic development. The ward enjoys stable political, economic, cultural, social, and defense-security conditions. Residents demonstrate a high level of consensus with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, and the great national unity bloc has been further strengthened.
Notably, the ward hosts numerous industrial zones and clusters. With a dense and concentrated population, its economic structure is oriented toward industry, services, and agriculture. Therefore, for the 2025 - 2030 tenure, the Ho Nai Ward Party Committee has set the goal of transforming the ward into a modern center of industry and services.
In his directive speech at the congress, Nguyen Minh Hoi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission, acknowledged and highly commended the achievements of Ho Nai Ward during the past term. He also affirmed that the orientation, objectives, key tasks, and breakthrough areas outlined in the ward's political report were well aligned with its potential, advantages, and sustainable development requirements in the new period.
