Standing Board of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Awards Party Badges to Veteran Party Members

On the National Day of September 2, on the afternoon of August 25, the Standing Board of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to award Party Badges to 11 veteran Party members and former members of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee as well as retired military generals in the province.

Chairing the ceremony were: Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of the National Assembly Deputies of Dong Nai Province; Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province; and Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Organization Commission of the Provincial Party Committee.

At the ceremony, 11 veteran Party members and former members of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, as well as retired military generals in the province, were awarded Party Badges ranging from 45 to 65 years of Party membership.

On behalf of the 11 Party members honored at the ceremony, Tran Van Tu, former Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, shared:  “We, the Party members awarded the Party Badge today, would like to express our deep gratitude to the generations of Party members who came before us; to the grassroots Party cells where we once worked and now continue our Party activities; and to the Standing Committee and the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee for their support and guidance, which helped us become good Party members. We pledge to continue striving and training ourselves to contribute to the integrity of the Party.”

Speaking at the event, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh emphasized: “The awarding of Party Badges demonstrates the Party’s profound gratitude for the steadfast and loyal dedication of its members to the noble revolutionary ideal. Those receiving the Badge are shining examples, strongly inspiring the younger generation to follow in their footsteps in building the homeland and the nation.”

The Standing Committee and the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee expressed the hope that the Party members honored with the Party Badge would continue to stay engaged, provide guidance, and contribute opinions toward building a clean and strong Party and political system; fostering solidarity and unity; successfully achieving the goal of double-digit growth; promoting green and prosperous development; shaping a civilized, modern, friendly, and compassionate Dong Nai; and improving the quality of life so that the people of Dong Nai enjoy greater well-being and happiness.

According to the Organization Commission of the Provincial Party Committee, on this National Day (September 2), the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee decided to award Party Badges to 1,188 Party members with 30 to 65 years of Party membership.

The awarding of Party Badges is conducted annually on major anniversaries such as the founding of the Party (February 3), President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19), and National Day (September 2).
