Provincial leaders pay tribute at Martyrs’ Cemetery to mark 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day

On the morning of August 29, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee; armed forces of the province, Tran Bien and Long Binh wards along with military units stationed in Dong Nai solemnly offered incense and flowers at the Provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery in Long Binh ward, paying tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, heroic mothers of Vietnam, and fallen martyrs.
 
Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Dong Nai National Assembly delegation, leads the delegation in laying wreaths and offering incense to the martyrs.

The ceremony was attended by Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai People’s Council; Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee; Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee; and Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission, and Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Party Agencies.

Also attending were Members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and leaders of Provincial departments, sectors, agencies, and organizations.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, provincial leaders and delegates observed a moment of silence to honor and remember President Ho Chi Minh, heroic mothers of Vietnam, and martyrs who sacrificed for the nation’s independence and freedom.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, heroic mothers of Vietnam, and martyrs, the Provincial leaders, officials, Party members, and the armed forces and people of Dong Nai pledged to remain united and determined to build a stronger, more prosperous, and civilized province, fulfilling the goals and targets set by the Provincial Party Congress.

After the ceremony, provincial leaders and delegates offered incense at the martyrs’ graves, two collective burial sites, and the memorial temple for President Ho Chi Minh, heroic mothers of Vietnam, and heroic martyrs in the campus of the cemetery.
