Prime Minister approves election result for Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee

On August 9, the Prime Minister officially approved the election results for the position of Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee for the 2021–2026 term for Nguyen Kim Long, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

On August 9, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, on behalf of the Prime Minister, signed Decision No. 1719/QĐ-TTg, approving the election result for the position of Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee (2021–2026 term) for Nguyen Kim Long, Provincial Party Committee Member and Chief of Office of the Provincial People’s Committee. The decision took effect from the date of signing, August 9, 2025.

Previously, on August 8, during the 4th session of the 10th Dong Nai Provincial People's Council, Nguyen Kim Long was nominated by the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee for being elected as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee for the 2021–2026 term. As a result, 100% of participating Provincial People's Council deputies voted in favor of electing Nguyen Kim Long to the position.

Nguyen Kim Long, born in 1977, his hometown in Ho Chi Minh City, holds a Master’s degree in Economics and an advanced degree in Political Theory. Throughout his career, he has held multiple key leadership positions, including Chairman of the Members’ Council of Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation in January 2016; Chief of Office of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, appointed in August 2020; then in August 2021, he was appointed by the Central Party Secretariat to participate in the Executive Committee of the 10th Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for 2020-2025 term and in August 2025, he was elected by the Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee.

As such, the leadership of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee for the 2021- 2026 term consist of: Vo Tan Duc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Le Truong Son - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Thi Hoang - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee; Ho Van Ha - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; and Nguyen Kim Long - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.
