At the project packages, contractors’ consortium have mobilized hundreds of construction crews with nearly 14,000 experts, engineers, workers, and laborers, alongside around 3,000 construction machines, to accelerate progress with the goal of basically completing the project by December 19, 2025, and putting it into commercial operation in the first half of 2026 as required by the Prime Minister.
To date, the implemented project value has reached over 52.5% of the contract value, with overall progress closely following the plan. Many key packages have committed to shortening schedules by 3–6 months compared to the original contracts, demonstrating the high determination of investors and contractors.

As for Runway 2, ACV representatives said construction began in late May 2025 and is expected to be basically completed simultaneously with the overall project. At the construction site, the contractors’ consortium is deploying multiple simultaneous works on foundations, substructure, and drainage systems.
For the passenger terminal, over 95% of the structural work has been completed. The central steel roof reached the final elevation in April 2025. Roof coverings, skylights, glass walls, and MEP systems (electrical, water, air conditioning) are being installed simultaneously. The goal is to complete construction and architectural works by December 19, 2025, for technical flight testing and handover for equipment installation from the end of 2025.
