Minh Hung ward developed into a green, civilised, and modern urban area

On the morning of August 10, the Party Committee of Minh Hung ward convened its 1st Congress for the 2025–2030 term. Attending the event were Nguyen Minh Hoi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Dong Nai Party Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission, leaders of provincial departments and agencies, and 155 official delegates representing all 634 Party members of the ward.

Following the merger of Minh Hung and Minh Long wards, the Party Committee of Minh Hung ward now has 634 members across 33 affiliated Party cells. During the 2020–2025 term, the Party Committee, local authorities, and residents of Minh Hung united in their efforts to implement the congress resolution, achieving significant results across all sectors. The Party building work and the political system have been strengthened and streamlined, operating effectively, while the great national solidarity bloc has been further consolidated.

The ward is currently home to 274 companies and enterprises, including 75 located within two industrial parks, providing employment for over 24,000 workers. Each year, 98% of the resolution rate on job creation has been met, and 99.95% of households have access to the national power grid.

With the theme “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Dynamism – Development”, the 1st Congress of the Minh Hung Ward Party Committee set out 18 targets, 5 key tasks, and 4 breakthrough areas. Leveraging its advantages in industry, trade, services, and major transport projects, alongside the expansion of industrial parks, the ward aims to accelerate growth towards sustainable urban development.

Commending the achievements of the past term and endorsing the targets, tasks, and breakthroughs adopted at the congress, Nguyen Minh Hoi urged the Party Committee of Minh Hung ward to focus on Party building, translating resolutions into practice, proactively investing in and strongly applying digital transformation, and enhancing the efficiency of the public administration in serving both citizens and businesses.

With ample room for development, the ward is requested to prioritise environmental protection, attract investment in high-tech industries and logistics infrastructure. It should gradually increase the share of industrial, construction, and commercial sectors, and improve living standards, ultimately transforming Minh Hung into a green, civilised, and modern urban area.
