On the afternoon of August 7, Long Thanh Commune’s Party Committee solemnly organized the 1st Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. 150 delegates representing nearly 2,500 Party members from the entire Communal Party Committee attended the congress.

In his opening speech at the congress, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Long Thanh Communal Party Committee Duong Minh Dung stated: The 1st Long Thanh Communal Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is a particularly important political event, marking a historical milestone in the foundation and development of the Long Thanh Communal Party Committee.

The congress reviewed the implementation of resolutions from the previous term, identified valuable lessons learned, and laid the foundation for setting goals, directions, tasks, and development solutions for the 2025-2030 term. Among them, the major goal identified is to transform Long Thanh into a central, modern, dynamically developing urban area with its own identity and regional stature.
The congress discussed and contributed profound, responsible, and constructive opinions to the draft documents of the higher-level Party Congresses.

Addressing and guiding the congress, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai Province Vu Hong Van acknowledged and praised the achievements made by the Long Thanh Communal Party Committee in recent times. He highly agreed with the general goals, directions, and breakthrough solutions and tasks proposed by the congress.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Van proposed that right after the congress, Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, each cadre, and Party members, especially the delegates attending the congress, based on the directions, goals, tasks, and solutions identified in the congress resolution, should promptly concretize them into specialized resolutions and practical action programs, specific and suitable to the actual conditions of each locality, agency, and unit. At the same time, they must implement comprehensive and decisive solutions to successfully achieve the goals and tasks set by the congress.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Van presented the congress with a ceremonial banner bearing the words: "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Integration - Development - Building Long Thanh Commune into a central urban area."
At the congress, the delegates heard the announcement of the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the appointment of the Executive Board, Standing Board, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Communal Party Committee; the Party Committee's Inspection Commission and Head of the Party Committee's Inspection Commission of Long Thanh Commune for the 2025-2030 term.
In his conclusion speech, Secretary of the Long Thanh Communal Party Committee Duong Minh Dung emphasized that with the spirit of "Unity, democracy, discipline, integration, development," after two days of working in the spirit of urgency and seriousness, the Long Thanh Commune Party Congress was a great success, completing the entire set agenda and contents.
Delegates attending the congress voted to approve the resolution for the 2025-2030 term. The resolution unified the goal of "Strengthening the building and rectification of the Party and the political system to be clean and strong; promoting the strength of national unity, innovation, digital transformation, create momentum for economic and social development, maintaining national defense and security, contributing to building Long Thanh commune into a central urban area."
To successfully achieve that goal, Secretary of the Long Thanh Commune Party Committee proposed that Party members, especially the delegates, continue to unite, unify thought and action; continue to set an example, with high responsibility from each member of the Executive Board of the Communal Party Committee; calling for the active participation of all levels, sectors, cadres, Party members, and people to strive to achieve the goal of building Long Thanh commune into a central urban area.
