The Job Fair, jointly organized by Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) and Dong Nai province’s departments and agencies at 3A Park in An Phuoc Commune, Dong Nai Province on August 23, is considered an important and strategic step in preparation to realize the goal of developing Long Thanh International Airport into a regional and international aviation hub.

Long Thanh Airport is expected to become a regional air transit hub in Southeast Asia, aiming to meet the standards of a green and smart airport. To achieve this stature, beyond technical infrastructure, the decisive factor lies in human resources, as it is people who will directly operate, manage, and elevate the airport’s brand in the future.

For that reason, the Job Fair not only served as a platform connecting businesses with potential workers but also opened clear and concrete career opportunities for thousands of students in Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City. With more than 10,000 participants, including pupils, students and job seekers, along with the presence of seven leading enterprises in the aviation sector, the event highlighted the strong appeal of this industry to the younger generation.

A notable highlight of the event was the proactive spirit and strategic vision of Dong Nai Province. Amid the province’s efforts to maintain double-digit economic growth and make strong investment in the infrastructure network surrounding Long Thanh Airport, the demand for high-quality human resources has become more urgent than ever.

From ACV’s perspective, its commitment goes beyond recruitment to include training and career development support for workers which is a highly positive message. This reflects a long-term vision of building a workforce that is not only highly skilled but also equipped with corporate culture, responsibility, and innovation, ensuring the effective operation of a modern airport. This is a timely and appropriate step, contributing to securing success not only for the Long Thanh Airport project but also for the future of Vietnam’s aviation industry.

From a broader perspective, this is also a testament to a shift in labor market approaches: from passive to proactive, from recruitment alone to workforce collaboration and development. This is a positive signal as the economy needs rapid adaptation to digital transformation, globalization, and automation trends, for the growth of Vietnam’s aviation industry and for Dong Nai province in the years ahead.
