During the 80-year journey of building, fighting and growing up, the image of the Vietnamese People's Public Security soldiers has become a noble symbol of bravery and wholehearted service to the people. In Dong Nai - a land rich in economic potential and a key area in terms of security and order, the Provincial Public Security force has been affirming its core role in maintaining peace for the people, ensuring a stable environment for investment and development.

Over the years, Dong Nai Provincial Police have achieved many outstanding achievements in crime prevention and control. From dismantling major special investigation cases such as Case 920G, which destroyed a large-scale fuel smuggling ring; and breaking up inter-provincial criminal groups involved in loan shark gang, known as 'black credit', gambling, drugs, to fighting high-tech and organized crimes, the Provincial Police force has always shown initiative, intelligence and determination. The quick discovery of the major projects and cases not only strengthens people's trust, but also deters and significantly reduces the crime situation, maintaining security and order in Dong Nai.

In addition, the provincial police force focuses on building a beautiful image of the police in the hearts of the people with many practical and meaningful activities; maintaining and replicating good models and good practices in movements to protect national security such as: Self-managed residential areas; Entrepreneurs Fund with security and order; Safe enterprises in security and order; Adopted children of communal police; and door-to-door citizen identification registration campaign, among others.

In the coming time, with its position as one of the country's major industrial hubs, Dong Nai will continue to attract a large number of workers, businesses, and investors. This will pose many new challenges regarding security and order. To meet the requirements of the new situation, Dong Nai Provincial Police will continue to tighten discipline, order, and enhance the sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers; strengthen the application of science and technology in management, supervision, and crime prevention; promote mass mobilization, and build a solid people's security posture.

In the context of Dong Nai’s ongoing implementation of a two-level local government model, the tasks of the police force require greater initiative and efficiency. As the core force in ensuring security and order, the police at all levels must closely coordinate with the government, not allowing gaps in local and sectoral management. The first focus is to grasp the situation, predict early the risks of crime and social evils to advise the Party Committee and government on timely solutions to problems arising at the grassroots level.

Maintaining a solid security and order will contribute significantly to the smooth and effective operation of the two-level local government, and the provincial police are one of the pioneering forces shouldering this responsibility.
