Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department visits and presents gifts to venerable monks and nuns

On August 19, a working delegation from the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, led by Deputy Head of the Department Nguyen Thi Ven, visited, congratulated, and presented gifts to venerable monks and nuns who are observing the Rains Retreat season at the Provincial Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Province’s Pagoda and Quang Minh Pagoda in Binh Phuoc Ward, Dong Nai Province.

Receiving the delegation were Most Venerable Thich Tinh Cuong, Member of the Executive Council, Standing Deputy Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Dong Nai Province; Reverend nun Thich Nu Nhat Khuong, Standing Member of the Executive Council, Head of the Central Nun's Sub-Committee, Head of the Dong Nai Nun's Sub-Committee, along with other dignitaries from the Executive Board of the VBS of Dong Nai Province.

 At the meeting, Deputy Head of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Thi Ven extended wishes of good health to the venerable monks and nuns; at the same time, she acknowledged the positive contributions of Buddhist establishments and followers in charity work, humanitarian aid, caring for community life, and building the great national unity bloc.

Deputy Head of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Thi Ven affirmed that Vietnamese Buddhism has always accompanied the nation through all historical periods, contributing to the cause of liberation, protection, and development of the country.

Regarding the implementation of the policy of rearranging provincial-level administrative units, including the mergence of the former Binh Phuoc Province and the former Dong Nai Province into the new Dong Nai Province, the provincial leaders expressed their wish that the VBS of the province would continue to propagate and mobilize monks, nuns, and Buddhists to agree, actively respond, and effectively implement the resolutions and policies of the Party, and the laws of the State.

Representative of the Executive Board of the VBS of Dong Nai Province expressed sincere gratitude for the attention of the provincial leaders and the leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; at the same time, they stated that they would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, accompany the Party committees and authorities, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, contributing to building Dong Nai Province to be increasingly civilized and prosperous.
