Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television holds flag-raising ceremony and supports Cuban people

To celebrate 80 years of the successful August Revolution and National Day (September 2); and 80 years of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security (19-8-1945 - 2025), on the morning of August 18, the Party Committee, Editorial Board, officials, reporters, editors, employees, and collaborators of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television (DNNRTV) held a weekly flag-raising ceremony and launched a campaign to support the Cuban people in response to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.

Speaking at the flag-raising ceremony, Member of Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of DNNRTV Nguyen Thi Minh Nham requested officials, reporters, editors, employees, and specialized collaborators of the agency to actively support Cuban people in overcoming difficulties caused by natural disasters, storms, floods, and embargoes.

The Editorial Board requested officials, reporters, editors, employees, and specialized collaborators of the agency to continue to unite, strive to overcome difficulties, and successfully complete assigned tasks.

At the end of the flag-raising ceremony, the Party Committee, Editorial Board, and officials, reporters, editors, employees, and collaborators of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television raised over 96 million VND. The money will be transferred to the Provincial Red Cross Society to be sent to the fraternal people of Cuba.

With the desire to meet demand for being informed and getting news updates, and create a cultural destination for local people, before the flag-raising ceremony, the Editorial Board organized the launch of a newspaper reading space in front of the Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television agency.

This is a place for local people from all walks of life to come and get information in Dong Nai newspaper. This is also an ideal check-in spot for young people. Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television Nguyen Thi Minh Nham hoped: The newspaper reading space will be a place for people and young people to find joy in reading newspapers and cultivate a reading culture. This is also how Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television get closer to the public.
