Binh Tan commune reviews criteria for military recruitment and call-up

On the morning of August 26, the Military Service Council (MSC) of Binh Tan commune held a conference to review the criteria for selecting and calling up citizens for military service in accordance with the 2026 recruitment plan.

The conference announced the preparation work of recruitment pool based on the preliminary list of citizens eligible for military service, and cases eligible for military service deferment in 2026. At the same time, it focused on discussing and answering questions related to each case according to the recruitment pool. As a result, the entire commune has 448 eligible cases for military service, including 126 citizens who have graduated from high schools; 381 citizens of the correct ages for temporary deferment; and 11 citizens who are not required to register for military service according to the regulations.

At the conference, representatives of the leadership of the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command also acknowledged the thorough preparation of the locality and proposed that the commune continue to coordinate closely among forces, manage and classify the pool of citizens right from the grassroots publicly and transparently, to adhere to the motto of “ensuring certainty in every call-up”, avoiding errors in troop delivery, maintaining fairness, and improving the quality of military recruitment in 2026.

Speaking at the conference, Doan Thi Mai Xuan, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, and Chairman of the Binh Tan Communal Military Service Council, requested that political committees, departments, and mass organizations of the commune strengthen propaganda to help people understand, support, and comply with the Law on Military Service; continue to meticulously review and update changes in the pool of citizens of the correct age; and strictly implement the process in accordance with the regulations. This helps ensure that Binh Tan commune's military recruitment and call-up tasks in 2026 will fulfil the assigned targets, achieve high quality, ensure fairness, and comply with regulations.
