Binh Tan Commune Party Committee sets 16 targets and 7 key tasks for the 2025-2030 term

(ĐN) - On the morning of August 7, the Binh Tan Commune Party Committee solemnly held the official session of the Party Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 tenure. Tran Trung Nhan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, attended and delivered remarks at the congress.

There were also representatives from the provincial Party-building committees, departments, and agencies, along with 130 Party members representing the commune’s total of 751 Party members attending the congress.

Binh Tan Commune, located in Dong Nai Province, was established through the merger of three former communes - Long Binh, Long Hung, and Binh Tan - previously part of the former Phu Rieng District. During the 2020–2025 term, despite a volatile overall context, the Party Committees of the three communes, backed by strong political will, internal unity within the Party, and broad public support, successfully fulfilled most of the targets set out in the congress resolutions. These achievements have fostered comprehensive progress across multiple sectors, laying a solid foundation of confidence for Binh Tan to enter a new stage of development, a period of vigorous transformation following the merger.

With the guiding principle of “Solidarity, Innovation, Synchronization, Efficiency, and for the People”, the Binh Tan Commune Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 tenure has proactively identified both opportunities and challenges, setting forth 16 targets, 7 key tasks, and 3 breakthrough programs, along with corresponding groups of implementation solutions. These are tasks that both inherit past achievements and reflect strategic vision, aligning with local conditions, in order to effectively harness potentials and advantages, overcome difficulties and challenges, and strive to build Binh Tan Commune into a fast-developing, comprehensive, and sustainable locality.

The congress also reached a unanimous consensus on the key targets and tasks for the 2025–2030 term. These include: Annually, 90% or more of grassroots Party organizations and Party members are to fulfill their duties or higher successfully; achieve an average annual economic growth rate of 7–8%; raise per capita income to VND 130 million/person/year by 2030; establish three new models of collective and farm-based economic development; develop four OCOP (One Commune, One Product) items rated three stars or higher; increase the number of individual business households and small enterprises in the commune by 5% annually; strive for Binh Tan Commune to meet the criteria of an advanced new-style rural commune by 2030; achieve a satisfaction rate of 95% or higher among citizens and enterprises for administrative procedures handled via the commune’s online public service portal; maintain political stability, social order, and public safety.

Delivering his directive speech at the congress, Tran Trung Nhan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, acknowledged and praised the achievements the locality had attained during the previous term. He also expressed high appreciation for the orientations and objectives set forth at the 1st Congress of the Binh Tan Commune Party Committee.

He emphasized the need to continue building a clean and strong Party organization; to enhance the leadership capacity and combat strength of grassroots Party organizations and their members; and to leverage the collective strength of the entire political system and the great national unity bloc in building a government that truly serves the people.

Nhan called on the commune to focus on translating the congress resolution’s goals into concrete action plans, aligned with practical realities, supported by clear roadmaps and effective mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation. He stressed the importance of prioritizing breakthrough areas and mobilizing all available resources to successfully implement the advanced new-style rural development program, thereby promoting strong, comprehensive, harmonious, and sustainable development in Binh Tan Commune.

Prior to the official opening of the congress, Binh Tan Commune organized a tree-planting ceremony themed “Forever Grateful to President Ho Chi Minh” in 2025. The event took place at the commune’s central area with the participation of provincial and local leaders, as well as residents.
