(ĐN) - On the afternoon of August 18, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council, Ton Ngoc Hanh, had a working session with the leaders and civil servants of the Provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Commission (PCIC) to review the organization and operations of the apparatus, assess its performance after the merger, as well as to set directions for key tasks in the coming period.
Tran Trung Nhan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Commission; Do Duc Hoa, Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Office; and the Provincial PCIC’s professional departments attended the working session.

According to the report by the leadership of the Dong Nai Provincial PCIC, the Dong Nai Provincial PCIC was established on July 1, 2025 by merging the former Dong Nai PCIC and the former Binh Phuoc Provincial PCIC. As of early August, the Provincial PCIC has 45 officials (40 on payroll), including one chairman and five vice chairmen.
After the merger, the Provincial PCIC and the Inspection Commissions of subordinate Party Committees have proactively advised the Party Committees to issue the working regulations of the Provincial PCIC and the Inspection Commissions of the Party Committees; inspection and supervision programs, and how to organize the 2025 inspection and supervision plan; promptly disseminating and carrying out directives from the Central and plan of the Central Inspection Commission regarding Party inspection, supervision, and digital transformation.
Specifically, in the past seven months, Party committee at levels inspected 209 Party organizations and 626 Party members; supervised 97 Party organizations and 335 Party members. At the same time, inspection commissions at levels conducted inspections when there were signs of violations in 7 Party organizations and 20 Party members, of these the provincial PCIC inspected 3 Party organizations and 8 Party members.

At the session, leaders of the Provincial PCIC, representatives from the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department, and the Provincial Party Committee Office reported on difficulties and challenges in advising, implementing, and reporting on directives, conclusions, and resolutions from the Central Committee; digital transformation in Party inspection work; as well as shortages in personnel. They also presented specific proposals and recommendations.
In conclusion, comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh acknowledged the efforts of the Dong Nai PCIC in operating the apparatus after the merger. She emphasized that the difficulties and challenges faced by the agency were inevitable and only temporary.

Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh requested the Provincial PCIC to proactively overcome challenges, particularly by shifting from a sector-based division of tasks to a geographic-based assignment, recruiting personnel with professional expertise to address staffing shortages, and organizing hands-on training sessions for grassroots-level officials to ensure effective implementation.
Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh also requested the Provincial PCIC to thoroughly review the system of documents from the two provinces prior to the merger, and identify inconsistencies and contradictions to make necessary adjustments for unification.
