(ĐN) – On July 16, Standing Deputy Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee had a working session with the editorial board of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television.

At the working session, Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Thi Minh Nham of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television reported on operations and organizational stability 16 days after the merger of Dong Nai Newspaper, Dong Nai Radio–Television Station, and Binh Phuoc Newspaper and Radio–Television.

She highlighted that the editorial board is prioritizing journalistic quality, fulfilling assigned political missions and receiving positive feedback. At the same time, they are actively planning coverage for significant events later this year, including the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam’s National Day (September 2), as well as the upcoming Party Congresses at all levels, culminating in the 2025–2030 Provincial Party Congress and the14th National Party Congress. Moreover, Ms. Nham proposed that the provincial leadership consider financial mechanisms and equipment investments to support professional operations, including expanding print circulation to Party members and grassroots units.

At the session, representatives from the Party Committee’s Organization Board, Popularisation and Education, Mass Mobilization Commissions, the Provincial Party Office, Finance Department, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Culture–Sports and Tourism, and Department of Home Affairs offered inputs on policy, staffing, and financial mechanisms. They shared a common vision for Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio-Television to become a major media institution that befits the region’s dynamic growth. The agency is also crafting a “2025–2030 Comprehensive Digital Transformation Strategy” to continue to innovate, develop strongly, and meet future tasks.

In her concluding remarks, Standing Deputy Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh commended the agency’s staff, journalists, editors, and employees for stabilizing the organizational framework and boosting morale following the merger. She urged close coordination with provincial leadership to swiftly secure mechanisms and policies that ensure effective and efficient operations.

She also stressed the importance of continued innovation and digital transformation to maintain competitiveness in an information-driven era. The editorial board must foster a learning culture, as provincial leaders expect high performance and efficiency from every employee, particularly those at the Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio-Television. Unity and internal cohesion, she added, are vital for delivering mandated tasks.

To fulfill upcoming critical political responsibilities, Standing Deputy Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh called for specialized content, dedicated sections and programs, for the Party Congresses at various levels, including deep analytical and theoretical pieces to meet the public’s evolving demands. She welcomed the plan to introduce an English-language edition and suggested exploring other foreign-language versions to better serve international audiences.
