With a sense of urgency, focus, discipline, democracy, and high responsibility, the 3rd session of the 10th Dong Nai provincial People’s Council successfully completed its full agenda.
In her closing remarks, Standing Deputy Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh stated that during this session, the council considered and adopted five resolutions with high consensus among its delegates. These included the Resolution on the 2025 socio-economic development and national defense-security plan; the Resolution on applying legal normative documents issued by the former People’s Councils of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc in the field of public order and security; the Resolution on the operating regulations of the provincial People’s Council, its Standing Committee, its committees, its delegations, and its delegates; and the Resolution on the 2026 supervision program of the provincial People’s Council.
Notably, based on legal regulations, actual conditions, and the local budget capacity, the council also approved a Resolution on support policies for revolution contributors and their relatives in Dong Nai.
The adoption of this policy is particularly meaningful as it coincides with the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day. It reflects the deep gratitude and respect of the Party, government, and people of Dong Nai, while also contributing to the betterment of the material and spiritual lives of revolution contributors and their families.
During the session, the provincial People’s Council also reviewed reports of People’s Committee on socio-economic and defense-security performance in the first half of 2025, as well as targets and solutions for the remainder of the year.
In addition, it listened to reports from the Standing Committee of the People’s Council, the provincial National Assembly Delegation, Fatherland Front Committee, People’s Court, People’s Procuracy, Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, and verification reports from the Council’s committees. The Council also acknowledged opinions and recommendations from the Front and relevant agencies submitted to the session. These form the basis for the Council to incorporate into its upcoming resolutions and action plans.

Emphasizing the particular importance of 2025 and the key tasks for the last six months of the year, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh highlighted several focal points for the provincial People’s Committee and leaders of departments, sectors, and localities to pay close attention to and implement effectively.
She stressed the need for strong leadership and effective administration in implementing the main tasks and solutions under the province’s 2025 socio-economic development plan and state budget estimates, adapting to the new context and the two-tier local government structure. It is vital to promptly address existing difficulties and challenges, maximize growth drivers, efficiently mobilize and utilize all available resources, and ensure the full achievement of the set goals and targets for 2025.
“We must be determined to successfully achieve the 10% economic growth target assigned by the provincial Party Committee and the People’s Council,” she emphasized.
Ms. Hanh urged the provincial People’s Committee, departments, sectors, and localities to seriously consider and act on the opinions raised by delegates at the session, particularly the six recommendations from the provincial Fatherland Front. These should be incorporated into implementation plans aligned with set objectives. At the same time, the Council's recently passed resolutions must be promptly and effectively put into practice.
She also called on all People’s Council deputies to report the session outcomes to their constituents, promote public compliance with Party guidelines, State policies and laws, and the resolutions of the People’s Council. Deputies should also actively listen to public sentiment and promptly relay their concerns to the appropriate authorities.
