(ĐN)- On the morning of May 7, a delegation from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, led by Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited, congratulated, and presented gifts to typical Buddhist organizations and dignitaries in the province on the occasion of Vesak 2025.
The delegation visited Venerable Thich Hue Sanh, Member of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS), Deputy Head of the Executive Board, Head of the Propagation Board of the VBS of Dong Nai province (Thanh Long Pagoda, Trung Dung Ward, Bien Hoa City); Venerable Thich Minh Tri, Alternate Member of the Executive Council of the VBS, Head of the Executive Board of the VBS of Bien Hoa City (Phuc Lam Pagoda, Tan Mai Ward, Bien Hoa City).
The delegation also visited Venerable Thich Dat Ma Toan Hanh, Deputy Head of the Executive Board of the VBS of Dong Nai province (Truc Lam Nhat Quang Zen Monastery, Long Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City); Most Venerable Nun Thich Nu Nhu Dung, Deputy Head of the Executive Board, Head of the Nun's Sub-committee under the Sangha Affairs Board of the VBS of Dong Nai province (Long Van Pagoda, Tam Phuoc Ward, Bien Hoa City).
The delegation also visited the Dong Nai Provincial Buddhist Intermediate School (Phuoc Tan Ward, Bien Hoa City).
At the places visited, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc emphasized that this year's Vesak celebration takes place at a time when the whole country is celebrating important historical events of the nation; that is, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, moving towards the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This year's Vesak is also the 4th time Vietnam has hosted the United Nations Vesak Celebration.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc wished the dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers a joyful and united Vesak season and many achievements in their Buddhist activities.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee respectfully acknowledged and praised the very positive contributions and companionship of the dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers of the VBS of Dong Nai province in the economic, cultural, and social development of Dong Nai. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed confidence that in the coming time, the dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers will continue to promote and respond to patriotic emulation movements, working together to build a stronger and more prosperous Dong Nai homeland.

Representatives of typical Buddhist organizations and dignitaries at the places visited expressed their deep gratitude to the provincial leaders. At the same time, they emphasized that in the coming time, Dong Nai Buddhism will continue to actively carry out social welfare activities, clearly demonstrating the spirit of "protecting the nation, bringing peace to the people" and the motto of the VBS "Dharma - Nation - Socialism".
