The leaders of Champasak expressed their thanks to the Vietnamese delegation, and at the same time expressed their belief that the two provinces will have more cooperative activities on the basis of the contents of the memorandum of understanding on strengthening the friendly cooperation relationship between the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province and the administration of Champasak for the 2022-2026 period.
During his stay in Laos, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Council of Dong Nai Thai Bao held a working session with leaders of the People’s Council of Champasak Province.
Speaking at the meeting, Bao introduced a number of overviews of achievements in socio-economic development, the defence and security situation, and activities of the People's Council of Dong Nai Province in recent time.
The Lao official said he hoped that the relationship between the People’s Councils of the two provinces in particular and the twinning relationship between the two provinces of Dong Nai and Champasak will be further fostered and strengthened.
During the working program in Champasak, the delegation of Dong Nai Province also participated in a number of other activities. Of which, the highlight was the Trade Promotion Conference organised by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse on April 10.
