(ĐN)- Preliminary reports show that 97.32 percent of voters in Dong Nai went to the polls by 17:00 on May 23 to elect deputies to the 15th National Assembly (NA) and all-level People’s Councils for the 2021-2026 term.
Cam My district saw the turnout rate of 100 percent at 15:00.
Some 2.2 million voters across the province at 7am on May 23 began to the poll to elect deputies to the 15th NA.
Apart from ensuring security and safety for the elections, Dong Nai authorities also make efforts in COVID-19 prevention and control. Accordingly, the elections took place smoothly in line with regulations.
