Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc arrived at the Beijing Capital International Airport of China on the morning of April 25 to attend the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF), which takes place from April 25-27.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc arrived at the Beijing Capital International Airport of China on the morning of April 25 to attend the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF), which takes place from April 25-27.
Welcoming the PM at the airport were leaders of Beijing, the Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Xiong Bo, leaders of China’s Foreign Ministry and Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi.
The Vietnamese PM is scheduled to have talks with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, pay a courtesy call to General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President Xi Jinping, and meet member of the CPC Politburo Standing Committee and Secretary of the CPC Central Committee’s Secretariat Wang Huning.
PM Phuc will attend the BRF’s opening and the welcoming ceremony for heads of delegations, as well as three discussion sessions of the forum. The first session will focus on promoting connectivity to seek new growth motivations, the second on the strengthening of policy resonance and building of closer partnerships, and the third on promoting green and sustainable growth for implementing the UN Agenda 2030.
The PM will have some bilateral meetings with leaders of attending countries, and meet Chinese businesses in infrastructure, energy, technology and finance.
On April 25, he will visit the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing and meet the Vietnamese community in China.
