The 28th session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee wrapped up on October 17 after three days of sitting, reaching several decisions on a number of important issues.
Addressing the closing ceremony, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan asked the Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, the NA’s Council for Ethnic Affairs, NA committees, and the NA Secretary General to continue studying and completing documents and reports to submit to the NA.
The agencies were also requested to finalise resolutions on personnel and administrative units of Binh Phuoc province to submit for promulgation.
She stressed that relevant agencies should coordinate closely to examine and complete the contents as well as make preparations to ensure the NA’s sixth meeting will open on October 22 and last for one month.
She noted that it was necessary for relevant agencies to promptly submit full and accurate documentation to ensure that NA deputies will have sufficient time for in-depth research, as well as for preparing comments for the sixth meeting.
