General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong and his entourage left Budapest on September 11 afternoon, successfully concluding his official visit to Hungary at the invitation of the country’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
Upon leaving the capital, Party leader Trong sent a thank-you message to his host, in which he expressed sincere gratitude for the warm and respectful reception given by leaders and people of Hungary to himself and his delegation. The visit leaves a fine impression on a peaceful and developed Hungary and the country’s hospitable people, the message read.
Also in the message, Party leader Trong express his belief that the fine outcomes of the visit with the joint statement on the Vietnam – Hungary comprehensive partnership will create a new motive for the bilateral relations, pushing the cooperation between the two countries to continue developing in a more vigorous, comprehensive and effective way, for the long-term interest of the two peoples.
The leader availed himself of the chance to wish Hungary further development, prosperity and major achievements in the national construction and development. He also wished the Vietnam – Hungary comprehensive partnership be constantly consolidated and developed.
As for the Hungarian Prime Minister and other leader, Party leader Trong wished them good health, happiness and successes in their noble positions.
