(ĐN)- The fifth session of the 9th provincial People’s Council opened on December 6 to review the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, security and defense in Dong Nai in 2017.
The session was presided over by Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong of the provincial Party Committee and attended by Deputy Secretary Phan Thi My Thanh, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of People’s Committee, Chairman Huynh Van Toi of Fatherland Front Committee.
Opening the session, Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong highly appreciated efforts made by the provincial People’s Committee, agencies, enterprises and locals to maintain stable economic growth and restructuring. He also suggested the delegates to focus discussion on solutions to well perform socio-economic development tasks in the coming time.
At the session, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh of the provincial People’s Committee delivered a report on the socio-economic situation this year.
