Attending the ceremony was Secretary of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Phan Thi My Thanh, Chairman of Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Van Toi, Head of Department of Propaganda and Training Thai Bao, Head of Department of Public Relations Ho Thanh Son, along with representatives from departments, sectors, localities, organizations and local people.
At the ceremony, the participants offered incense, flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and recalled meaningful memories of the late President’s great contribution to the national revolution.
President Ho Chi Minh, name at birth Nguyen Sinh Cung, was born on May 19, 1890 and passed away on September 2, 1969 (the 21st of the 7th lunar month). In Vietnamese tradition, the death anniversary is commemorated based on the lunar calendar.
