Dong Nai marks 25 years of Vietnam-ROK diplomatic ties

(ĐN)- Dong Nai province on Friday held a ceremony to mark the 25th anniversary of Vietnam-the Republic of Korea (RoK) diplomatic relations and RoK's National Day.

 

(ĐN)- Dong Nai province on Friday held a ceremony to mark the 25th anniversary of Vietnam-the Republic of Korea (RoK) diplomatic relations and RoK’s National Day.

Leaders of Dong Nai and Gyeongnam honor collectives and individuals for their contributions to the relationship between the two provinces.
Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh  honor collectives and individuals for their contributions to the relationships between Dong Nai and RoK.

Addressing at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh stressed that RoK ranks first among 43 countries and territories investing in the province with total investment capital of US$5.45 billion. Most of investor from RoK poured their money in industrial production.

RoK’s Deputy Consul General in HCM City Jeong Woo Jin said that Vietnam-RoK diplomatic relations will be further consolidated and developed, adding that the two-way trade turnover has increased sharply. Earlier, Vietnam ranked 13th among RoK’s trade partners, but now Vietnam is the third biggest partner of RoK. The two-way trade turnover is estimated to reach US$70 billion in 2020.
