A Vietnamese delegation led by Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh arrived in Ulan Bator on May 7 evening, beginning a four-day official visit to Mongolia.
The visit aims to promote the traditional friendship between the two countries as well as enhance mutually-beneficial bilateral cooperation in economics, trade, labour, education, culture and tourism.
The Vietnamese Vice President is scheduled to hold talks with Mongolian Prime Minister Jargaltulgyn Erdenebat following the official welcome ceremony on May 8 morning.
Vietnam and Mongolia have developed long-standing friendship and multi-faceted cooperation in various fields since they established diplomatic ties in November 1954.
