Party official meets with voters in Dong Nai

Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC's Commission for Education and Information Vo Van Thuong together with some candidates of Election Unit No.1 of Dong Nai province had meetings with voters in Bien Hoa city.

At the meetings, voters voiced their concerns about a number of issues related to urban planning, land clearance, land compensation, environmental pollution, illegal exploitation of mineral resources as well as policies for revolutionary veterans and beneficiaries, among others.

They also suggested the National Assembly to further strengthen its supervisory role to address issues drawing concerns of voters nationwide in a fast and effective manner.

Listening to voter’s concerns, Politburo member Vo Van Thuong promised that their opinions would be noted and sent to the NA as well as relevant ministries and sectors to be resolved.

He also emphasised that the Party and State were determined to prevent and oppose corruption and wastefulness, as well as set out policies supporting old revolutionaries, the poor and the elderly.
