(ĐN)- Bien Hoa city on Monday held a solemn ceremony to receive the first-class Labor Medal from the State President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao DRP). Secretary of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong attended the ceremony.

On behalf of the State President of Lao DRP Bounnhang Vorachith, Sulovan Savatthasin, Chief of Pakse district of Champasak province, which is twinned with the city, handed over the first-class Labor Medal from the State President of Lao DRP to Bien Hoa city for its contributions and support to Pakse district’s socio-economic development over the past years.
Pakse district and Bien Hoa city have established friendship cooperation ties since 2012. Since then, the city has supported the district in various fields, such as education, culture, experience in building Party and Government, etc.
In addition, Bien Hoa city has financed VND8 billion to the district to build two projects, including steeple clock and fire fighting plumbing. The two sides have also signed a cooperation agreement in many fields.
