Addressing at the conference, Deputy Head of Cultural Foreign Relation and UNESCO under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vu Binh stressed that diplomacy of culture is one of key tasks of Vietnam’s foreign affairs, along with diplomacy in politics, economic and Vietnamese overseas’ affairs, adding that, in people-to-people diplomacy, diplomacy of culture helps international people know more about tradition and people of Vietnam, policies in internal and external affairs of our Party and State.
Chairwoman of Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations Bui Ngoc Thanh said that, in the coming time, the union will work closely with relevant departments and sectors to implement effectively people-to-people diplomacy, contributing to popularizing Dong Nai’s image to international friends.
