Communist Party of Nepal's leader visits Dong Nai province

Vice Secretary Tran Van Tu briefed the delegation, who paid courtesy visit to Dong Nai province’s leaders, on the highlights of the province’s socio-economic situation, stressing that the relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) has been more and more strengthened since it was restored.

Mr. Madhav Kumar Nepal gave general information about Nepal and people and the Communist Party, adding that the party has been playing leading role in the country. Nepal is facing lots of difficulties and problems, expressing his thanks to Vietnam as acting as a friend when his country is in need, he added.

Nepal and Vietnam should boost cooperation and share their experiences to strongly develop economic and science-technology. They could also join hands to build twinned cities, universities as well, he said, adding the invitation to Vietnamese investors to invest in Nepal. Nepal also wished to intensify its cooperation with Vietnam in the field of agriculture.

The host stressed that investors from Dong Nai province will pay fact-finding visits to Nepal to lean about trade opportunities, expressing his hope that the province will study to twin with a locality in Nepal.

After the working session, the delegation from the Nepali party toured Tri An Hydroelectric Plant in Vinh Cuu district.
