They briefed the revolutionary contributors on the outstanding gratitude activities conducted by the whole army.
Over the past time, they have actively promoted the implementation of the “Learning and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral example” and "Promoting traditions, contributing talents, deserving to be Uncle Ho's soldiers" movements, raised training and combat readiness quality, firmly protected the country’s territorial integrity, and joined hands in search and rescue missions and the new rural area building campaign.
Since 2010, the army has built nearly 7,000 gratitude houses, contributed about VND 169 billion to the Gratitude Fund, taken care of more than 1,400 heroic Vietnamese mothers, provided jobs for over 250 children of war invalids and sick soldiers, and presented medical equipment to convalescent centres across the country.
