During the 2010-2014 period, the units in the bloc made business operation safely and stable growth. Many of them had received noble awards. The bloc raised VND350 million to build 11 charity houses for local poor people. Many units had also launched charity campaigns, contributed to gratitude funds, presented scholarships to poor students, gave Tet gifts to poor households with the total cost of dozens of billions dongs.
Addressing at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Chanh stressed that in the coming time, the Emulation Bloc 9 would continue their further efforts to fulfill their business targets, take part in emulation campaigns, select and honor individuals and organizations who have outstanding performance in patriotic emulation movements.
At the congress, 15 collectives and 59 individuals were awarded certificates of merit from the provincial People’s Committee for their outstanding performance in patriotic emulation campaigns in the 2010-2014 period.
