(ĐN)- Xuan Loc district early on April 9 held a solemn ceremony to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its liberation (April 9,1975- 2015).
The ceremony was attended by senior revolutionary contributors, along with 190 war veterans and large number of local people.

At the ceremony, Xuan Loc district’s leader reviewed glorious tradition in war of resistance against colonialists as well as reported socio-economic achievements during the four decades since the liberation.
During 40 years after the liberation day, Xuan Loc have obtained encouraging achievements in developing socio-economy. Accordingly, the district has achieved high economic growth, helping bring average per capita income in the district to VND37.6 million.

The district has so far had 95% of its rural roads which are asphalted or concreted, 100 percent of rural households had got access to electricity, 76 percent of local schools have met the national standards, the quality of healthcare provided for local people has been improved.
As of late 2014, 12 out of 14 communes in Xuan Loc have met 19 criteria for new rural areas. Xuan Loc was the first district in the country to be recognized as “new rural district”.
On this occasion, the district’s leader also presented 29 gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and typical war veterans who had contributions in the resistant wars for the district’s liberation.
