Dong Nai, Cambodian Military Sub-zones strengthen friendship, cooperation

(ĐN)- A cooperation memorandum of understanding (MoU) for 2015 and regulations on friendship consolidation between Dong Nai Military Headquarters and Kompong Thom province's Military Sub-zone under Royal Cambodian Army were signed on April 25 at the provincial Military Headquarters.

 

(ĐN)- A cooperation memorandum of understanding (MoU) for 2015 and regulations on friendship consolidation between Dong Nai Military Headquarters and Kompong Thom province’s Military Sub-zone under Royal Cambodian Army were signed on April 25 at the provincial Military Headquarters.

The signing ceremony was attended by Major General Phan Tan Tai, Deputy Commander of Military Zone 7, Vice Chairman Nguyen Phu Cuong of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee, Lieutenant General Kung Pha, Deputy Commander of Military Zone 4 under Royal Cambodian Army, and Chief of Kampong Thom province Prack Sarat.

The two sides agreed to boost their friendly cooperation activities under the principles of friendly relations, long-term and comprehensive cooperation. They will be friends, trustful partners with mutual equality and respect; keep peaceful environment, stabilization as well as development in each country.

Notably, they agreed on cooperation contents as information and cultural exchange, exchanges of delegations, twinning activities, training, support in trade development, medicines, humanitarian aid, searching, gathering and repatriating remains of Vietnamese volunteer troops who had sacrificed serving the international obligation in Cambodia. They also reached agreement on creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese community in Kampong Thom province and Cambodian community in Dong Nai.

Earlier, on April 24, Dong Nai Military Headquarters also signed agreement on the above-mentioned cooperation contents with Kampong Cham province’s Military Sub-zone of Military Zone 2 under Royal Cambodian Army.

On the same day, the Cambodian high-ranking mission from Military Sub-zones of Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom provinces  visited the national historical relic of Unit 125, the predecessor to the Cambodian National United Front for National Salvation, in Cam My district.
