Standing Deputy Secretary Phan Thi My Thanh of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of People’s Committee welcomed the delegation.
During the visit, Colonel Nguyen Van Nam and Senior Lieutenant-Colonel Huynh Thanh Liem, Commandant and the Political Commissar of the provincial Military Command, reported the delegation of armed forces building in the province.
Former Party and State leaders hoped that local armed forces would continue efforts to ensure political security, social order and safety, contributing to the province’s socio-economic development.
On this occasion, the delegation paid tribute to fallen combatants at Eastern Martyrs Temple and planted memorial trees at the provincial Military Command.
