Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on December 3 received Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan (L). PM Hun Sen voiced his support for activities stated in the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation among the fronts of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, aiming to promote and enhance trilateral cohesion and companionship.

Chairman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan made the suggestion at a meeting with his Lao and Cambodian counterparts in Phnom Penh on Monday.

According to Nhan, the settlement of border issues between the three countries would help maintain peace and friendship while promoting economic and trade activities.

President of the Solidarity Front for the Development of the Cambodian Motherland National Council Heng Samrin, who is also the chairman of Cambodia's National Assembly, agreed with Nhan, and expressed his thanks to the Vietnamese and Lao Parties, Governments and Fronts for their support for Cambodia's national construction.

Chairman of the Laos Front for National Construction Central Committee Phanh Duongchet Vongsa wished for further collaboration between the three Fronts to strengthen the Viet Nam-Laos-Cambodia relationship.
