The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commander Nguyen Van Tho of the Air Defence and Air Force and Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee.
At the ceremony, Deputy Commander Nguyen Van Tho handed the army’s flag to Missile Regiment 93.

He also asked the officialsand soldiers of the regiment to continue efforts to enhance the training quality and promote combat readiness to protect national airspace and sovereignty over islands and sea as well as army develop into a regular, elite and modern military force.
Missile Regiment 93, established by merging ZSU23-4 self-propelled artillery Battalion 123 and Missile Mission 93, is assigned to build comprehensively strong unit and be ready to defend the national southern airspace.
