The event was attended by President Truong Tan Sang and 262 representatives of residential areas and heads of local Fatherland Fronts from across the country.
At the conference, the VFF Central Committee presented eight Labour Orders, third class and 25 Prime Minister’s Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals.
Four collectives and individuals from Dong Nai were honored at the conference.Particularly, cadres and people of Hamlet 2 in Long Khanh township’s Xuan An ward got Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit, those of Hamlet 2 in Dinh Quan district’s Phu Vinh commune received Certificate of Merit from Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Mr Do Minh Son and Mr Dang Minh Duong, heads of local Fatherland Fronts in Bien Hoa city’s Tan Mai ward and Xuan Loc district’s Bao Hoa commune, were presented VFF Central Committee’s Certificates of Merit.
The conference aimed to honour collectives and individuals who have made contributions to mass mobilisation and emulation movements during the period 2009-2013.
