Receiving Masahito the same day, Minister of Public Security General Tran Dai Quang noted his ministry delegation's visit to Japan and the visit made by President of the Japan National Public Safety Commission to Viet Nam this year, when the two nations were celebrating the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties, saying that such actions had lifted bilateral connections to a new level.
Masahito vowed to take all measures to combat transnational crimes with the ministry as part of the efforts to shore up Viet Nam–Japan co-operation.
