| Providing free medical check-ups and medicine to Lao people |
Accordingly, many cultural exchanges and competitions about Laos and its people have been organized to promote friendship among the young people of both countries.
Particularly, the association has sent delegations to Laos' provinces to offer free medical check-ups and medicine to nearly 7,000 people in Champasak province, presented gifts to Laotian students studying in Dong Nai on the occasion of the national holidays of the two countries.
The association has so far had more than 700 members, who used to spend time studying and working in Laos or took part in the resistance war on the Lao front.
