Visiting politburo member To Huy Rua has affirmed that Vietnam will do its utmost together with Laos to maintain and nurture the special solidarity between both countries, making it deeper, and more effective and practical.
Rua, who is also the head of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC)’s Organisation Commission, made the remarks at a reception given by General Secretary of Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and President Chummaly Saynhasone in Vientiane on August 26.
According to him, the strengthening of the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos is for the benefit of each country’s people, and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Rua, who is leading a delegation to Laos from August 26-30, informed his host of the cooperative achievements between the two Parties’ Organisation Commissions and the outcomes of their talks earlier.
The CPVCC Organisation Committee will work closely with its Lao counterpart to implement joint agreements signed between them, he added.
LPRP General Secretary and President Chummaly Saynhasone commented on the positive contributions made by the two Parties’ Organisation Committees to consolidate and strengthen the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between both nations.
He said he hopes that the two commissions will continue to collaborate and share experience in Party building, personnel training and the implementation of Party resolutions.
Earlier, Rua held talks with his counterpart Chansi Phokhamsi.
The two sides informed each other of the situation of their respective Party and country, exchanged experiences in Party building and measures to implement their cooperation agreements, raising the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity to a new height.
