Addressing the event, VJA Chairman Thuan Huu said since its establishment 63 years ago, the VJA has kept growing with over 19,000 members scattered across 63 cites and provinces nationwide.
Last year, the VJA organized over 200 seminars, exchanges and training courses on political awareness and professional skills.
Its Centre for Media Training has held 40 different courses for nearly 900 members, Thuan said.
In the coming time, it will focus on improving political education, popularizing the “Study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s example” campaign and encouraging members to fulfill their assigned tasks and engage in more social activities.
