In the early morning of July 26, the leaders from the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee laid wreaths and burnt incense at the province’s Martyrs Cemetery in commemoration of revolutionary soldiers who laid down their lives for national independence.

At the evening of the same day, the provincial Youth Union in cooperation with Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs organized candle-lighting ceremonies at the province’s martyrs cemetery and Ma Da martyrs cemetery to commemorate the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national independence.
Earlier, July 23-25, two delegations of the provincial People’s Council and the provincial Military Headquarters visited and presented gifts to policy families in Cam My, Vinh Cuu, Nhon Trach districts and Bien Hoa city.

On July 23, a ceremony was held to inaugurate a temple at Long Duc commune, Long Thanh district, dedicated to heroes and martyr who laid down their lives during the national liberation war.
According to Dong Nai Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the province spent more than VND13 billion worth of gifts to over 19,000 war invalids, revolutionary contributors and martyrs’ families on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day.
