Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai and Vice Chairpersons Tran Minh Phuc and Nguyen Thanh Tri of People’s Committee, Vice Chairwoman Huynh Thi Nga of People’s Council attended the event, along with heroes of the armed forces and labour.
Addressing at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc emphasized that patriotic emulation movement has been evolving strongly, turning out as a valuable tradition and leaving profound imprints that enriched national patriotism of the Vietnamese nation.
He also stressed that during the fights against French colonialists and American imperialists, the provincial Party and people have made great efforts to implement tasks to serve the revolutionary cause.
In the renovation period, the province’s patriotic emulation movement has continued to develop significantly. The emulation movement of high productivity, high efficiency, poverty reduction, and the movement "All people unite to build cultural lifestyle” drew the participation of many people.
Also on the occasion, outstanding organizations and individuals were recognized for their contributions to national patriotic emulation movements.
