Dong Nai hastens Uncle Ho morals campaign

(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s Party Committee held a conference on May 21 to review two years of implementing the Politburo’s Directive No. 03-CT/TW on "continued acceleration of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral example".

The event was attended by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary Le Hong Phuong, Chairman of People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai, Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department Bui Ngoc Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of People’s Council Huynh Thi Nga, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri and leaders of departments, agencies and localities.

Addressing at the conference, Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education Huynh Van Toi said that the implementation of Directive 03 over the past two years has contributed to helping localities and agencies across the province to fulfill their political tasks as well as helped bolster officials, Party members and people's confidence in the Party and State. Following the implementation of the Party resolution on urgent issues in Party building, the quality of Party organization performance and efficiency have increased; many individuals and organizations have done excellent work in learning from President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh stressed that “Studying and Following the late President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” campaign has received a positive response from party members, government officials and local people over the past years. He urged all related agencies continue to raise awareness among Party members, officials and people of the significance of the movement considering it to be a daily task; particularly, the majority of the public servants and party members, particularly senior leaders, need to continue their efforts to set good examples in the movement to follow Uncle Ho's morality.

At the conference, the provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee honored 29 collectives and 35 individuals who have made achievements in the campaign, presented 45 awards for literary, art, and press works on the topic of following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example in 2012.
