Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh of the provincial Party Committee attended the ceremony.
The one-hectare park, located next to the district’s Temple of Martyrs, will be built at an estimated cost of VND15 billion.
When in place, it will accommodate thousands of graves of martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers and heroes of People’s Armed Force who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence. The park will be also a place for the local people to worship the heroes and martyrs.
