(ĐN) – Three collectives have been awarded the title “People’s Armed Force Heroes in the two resistance wars against foreign invaders for national salvation” at a ceremony in Long Khanh town on December 22.

Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc of the provincial People’s Committee attended the ceremony.
The recipients were team of engineers of Long Khanh town’s Small Arms Factory, Binh Loc and Bao Vinh communes’ people and armed forces.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the State President, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh congratulated and pinned the People’s Armed Force Heroes insignia on the collectives’ traditional flags.
On this occasion, three collectives also received laudatory writings from the Provincial People’s Committee, in recognition of their significant contributions to the victories in the two resistance wars.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc expressed his hope that the collectives will continue to uphold their revolutionary traditions, meeting the demand and missions of national construction and defense in new context.
