The Vietnamese National Assembly, Government and people will do their utmost to promote cooperation projects with Japan in the interests of each side, and for peace and development in the world.
National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung made the remarks at his talks with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda on December 7 during his ongoing official visit to Japan .
Hung expressed his pleasure at the strong and comprehensive developments in their bilateral ties over the past time, and appreciated Japan ’s continuous ODA for infrastructure projects, human resources training and environmental protection in Vietnam , stating that the country attaches importance to the effective use and monitoring of ODA.
The leader proposed that the two sides maintain and intensify visits and contacts between high-ranking leaders, adding he hoped that the PM will continue facilitating and accelerating Japanese enterprises’ investment in Vietnam .
The Vietnamese NA and Government will create favourable environment and conditions for Japanese investment to become effective, Hung added.
Noda affirmed cooperation with Vietnam is a priority in Japan ’s policies. The two sides need to widen cooperation in all fields in an effort to further deepen the efficiency of the strategic partnership between the two countries, he added.
He also pledged to continue providing ODA for Vietnam ’s socio-economic development.
