(ĐN)- Cambodian Kampong Thom provincial People's Council Chairman Nam Tum led a high ranking delegation to pay a working visit to Dong Nai on November 7-9.

(ĐN)- Governor of Cambodia's Kampong Thom Province Nam Tum led a high ranking delegation to pay a working visit to Dong Nai on November 7-9.

The delegation was warmly received by Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh of Dong Nai province's Party Committee , Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of People’s Committee , Chairman Vy Van Vu of Fatherland Front Committee , Vice Chairwoman Huynh Thi Nga of People's Council and Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tri of People's Committee.

At the working session, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh reviewed the fine traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia. He also briefed the delegation on the province's socio-economic development and expressed his wish to develop bilateral economic relations for the benefit of both provinces.

On behalf of the Cambodian people, Mr Nam Tum expressed the deepest gratitude to the Vietnamese Party and people for their valuable and timely help for Cambodia in the struggle against the Khmer Rouge. He also hoped that Dong Nai's enterprises would increase their investments in Cambodia, especially projects of growing rubber and cashew, agricultural product processing. He affirmed that Kampong Thom province's authorities would create favourable conditions for Dong Nai‘s investors.

During the visit, the delegation will visit the  historical relic site of Brigade 125 in Cam My district, Dong Nai Rubber Co., Dong Nai Foods Import and Export Co.
